Balagurusamy wrote this book to teach how to write codes in ANSI C language. E. Balagurusamy is a well-known author who has written many books about programming languages, primarily C language, one of the most popular languages used for writing codes for applications and software development projects nowadays. He was born on January 23rd, 1952, in Madras Presidency (now known as Chennai), Tamil Nadu, India. He completed his schooling at St Joseph’s College before pursuing higher education at Annamalai University, where he graduated with degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science Engineering (CSE). He also earned his master’s degree in Computer Science from IIT Bombay later on in his lifetime
